Hungary is well recognised as an advantageous location for conducting clinical trials. Besides the great cost-value advantage the country offers, patient recruitment is usually three to four times faster than in Western EU sites.
Participation in clinical trials provides access to the most modern clinical centres, the best physicians and a closer medical follow-up. The doctor-patient relationship is strong in Hungary and patients are happy to comply, not only to please the doctor but also because they receive excellent medical care and free medications.
The bottom line: the dropout rate for clinical trials in Hungary is less than 5%, compared to 20% in Western Europe, which results in more subjects per euro spent. Furthermore the Hungarian government operates a large number of direct and indirect innovation incentives, some of which are explicitly targeted at the biotech/pharma sector.
We kindly invite you to a joint event of Embassy of Hungary in Israel and mHealth Israel on clinical trials titled “Hungary – Find Your EU Partner”, to be held on September 12th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at the Embassy of Hungary in Israel (18 Pinkas St., Tel Aviv).
Please, RSVP by either confirming your participation at the website of the event or by sending an email to Science & Technology Attaché Tristan Azbej who is also happy to answer any questions you may have about the program.
